On September 18th, Melboss Talks will be returning for the fourth season featuring the renowned Al Schmitt.
The Grammy award-winning producer and sound engineer has worked with high caliber artists such as Henry Mancini, Steely Dan, George Benson, Toto, Natalie Cole, Quincy Jones, Elvis Presley, Madonna, Michael Jackson, Paul McCartney and Celine Dion to name a few. Through his work, he has brought home 22 Grammy awards, a star in Hollywood and 160 gold and platinum albums.
The first appearance of this Melboss talk will take place on September 18th in Madrid’s Circulo de Bellas Artes, beginning at 6:00 pm. Al Schmitt will speak about his experience and his journey in the music industry as both a producer and a sound engineer.
As well as offering insight into his personal experiences, he will additionally offer his professional advice for individuals who aspire to enter into this industry. The director of the chat will be Manuel Colmenero, renowned Spanish producer who has worked with artists such as Vetusta Morla, Nena Daconte, Eladio y los Seres Queridos to name a few. He will play the role of the interviewer of Schmitt, the star invite.
Additionally, as is custom in all Melboss Talks, live music will be a relevant aspect of the event. At the beginning and finale of the chat, there will be showcases featuring emerging artists and bands.
