On September 22, 2016, 150 professionals from the music industry gave an official and warm welcome to Melboss at the Melboss Open 2016; an exclusive event dedicated to networking, performances, discovering new talent and most importantly, having a good time. The event took place on the Room Mate Óscar Hotel’s beautiful rooftop terrace in Chueca, Madrid.
Other than networking, the Open was a unique opportunity for the four selected bands and singers to perform and display their talents in front of a selective and important audience. The final performances included Trece; a pop rock duo from Mallorca, Gentleman Clef; an alternative-acoustic duo from Madrid, Tamra; a soul and R&B singer from New York and last but certainly not least, Sada Vidoo; a classic rock/electronic living doll from London. Their performances took place in a special and niche space inside one of the suites of the hotel, provoking a more intimate setting and ambience for the concerts. In this fashion Melboss chooses to support new and upcoming artists from around the world with the projection of their careers.
Here are some of the highlights of the evening:
The event, purposefully mixing business with pleasure, presented the professionals with delicious hors d’oeuvres, thirst quenching drinks, socializing and professional photo-ops. After many hours of networking, good conversation, beautiful weather, fun and entertainment, the Melboss Open was a proven success on one of the longest and most beautiful days of the year.
